Breathing sunshine, Cape Town.

Two months already since I left Paris for Cape Town, South Africa. Such a blessing to live here with the ocean on the left and the mountains on the right. Two months is enough to get some habits and here is a quick selection of my fav instants…

looking at the mix of Design & Nature everywhere - chilling out with new friends - walking in the cold foam - going outside for breakfast - Clifton 1st beach at 6pm - tanning from my bed - smoking in the sunshine haze - buying Protéas and other colorful south african flowers - exploring Nature before dinner - dreaming on my balcony while listening to the waves - having sunset at home for teatime - sharing this new adventure with my man…

✽ Made in my Dreams

I know I already dreamt about it. This little house lost in the green hills. Somewhere.

The natural light and the windows open to a messy garden which keep you totally connected to nature. 

The secret backyard full of grass plants, candles and travel souvenirs. And a surfboard, always. 

The used white kitchen suspended in the air - peaceful breakfast and dreamy dinner. The atmosphere, so calm, so quiet. 

Some pieces of wood from floor to ceiling. And here and there some homemade pillows and plaids, vintage furnitures and a lot of books. I mean, a mountain of books. 

To still dreaming and keeping our minds open, favorite photographs all around the house… 

Well, I dreamt about this house. And all I know is she's real, waiting somewhere in Mexico…

A Nomad Getaway ❊

Off to the woods. 

Let's go on the road for two days getaway, with family by my side. 

Driving to the Forest of Fontainebleau to find a lovely place to stay: an authentic Mongolian yurt. 

Two days of stroll, rest, joy and tranquility. Pure happiness. 

What a great experience to spend the night in such a pretty little home behind the trees. It's been a while that I haven't sleep outside ; cannot remember the last time actually. 

The yurt is kinda magical. The adorable ethnic furnitures make you feel that you are lost somewhere in the middle of vast plains, traveling for living... It creates a special atmosphere - a boho cocoon. 

Well the night wasn't so peaceful as we got a storm, but I liked it... Perfect harmony! 

We spent the days eating well, discovering some old villages, playing and making some new family souvenirs. Priceless! 

YES! I'm officially in holidays but no travel planned for this Summer. Gonna stay in the sunny Paris setting-up a new life project. We'll talk about it soon...
